Pottery — the beginning

How I found myself in clay

I am a potter. I use stoneware clay to design and make original pieces of art and functional ware, all of which reflect my love of nature and the outdoors. I love the experience of feeling the clay in my hands and forming it into pieces that combine utility and beauty. My first experience with clay was at a community college and continued over the years by attending various workshops where I learned many valuable lessons—including becoming a production potter and setting up a studio.
